Mike and Gary Brumley have been playing in various groups either together or separately for over 25 years. Groups have ranged in settings from duets, trios to big band jazz ensembles and even Theater pit orchestras at Shawnee Mission Park, Penn valley Park and most recently Lawrence Community Theater. Mike, who also plays trombone, is a member of the Festival Classical Brass Quintet. Mike and Gary currently play in the Olathe Kicks and Lawrence Jazzhaus big bands and on occasion with the Abel Ramirez Big Band.
